Varsha Chandramouli, MD
Vice President, Clinical Operations
Varsha Chandramouli, MD, is the Vice President of Clinical Operations for AIM Specialty Health® (AIM). In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the physician and nurse reviewers involved in AIM solutions.
Dr. Chandramouli joined AIM in 2006. During her time with the company, she has served as a physician reviewer, a physician manager for the Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Specialty Drug Solutions, and, most recently, as the director of clinical operations. She is a member of the Clinical Leadership Committee, for whom she ensures that the company's clinical operations align with its clinical guidelines, clients' medical policies, and Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
Dr. Chandramouli has over 13 years of clinical experience and has practiced in a variety of settings. Prior to joining AIM, she was in private practice at one of the largest multispecialty groups in northern Kentucky and provided primary care to underserved populations in Lake County, Illinois. In addition to her role at AIM, Dr. Chandramouli mentors medical students and provides primary care at the Interprofessional Community Clinic at Rosalind Franklin University School of Medicine.
Dr. Chandramouli received her medical degree from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University. She completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Chandramouli is board-certified in family medicine.
