Julie Thiel, MD
Vice President, Clinical Operations
Julie Thiel MD is the Vice President of Clinical Operations for AIM Specialty HealthSM (AIM). In her role, Julie is responsible for the day to day management of the nurse and physician clinical review process. Julie joined AIM as a physician reviewer in 2005.
Prior to joining AIM, Julie had 15 years of clinical and administrative experience in a variety of practice settings. Her clinical positions included a faculty appointment at Rush Medical College and she was an attending physician in the Section of Emergency Medicine at Rush Presbyterian St Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois for ten years. She also served as the medical director for a private medical practice in Chicago.
Julie received her medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at University Hospitals of Cleveland at Case Western Reserve University. She is board certified in Internal Medicine.
